At Holy Family, in coordination with HFCA parents, teachers and staff work tirelessly to provide the best possible education to all children in the southwest Irving and DFW metropolitan area. Located at the intersection of the George Bush Highway (161) and Hwy 183, HFCA is one of the most diverse Catholic schools in the DFW area, a true place where faith and community intersect as a wellspring for learning and spiritual formation.
Founded in 1965, Holy Family Catholic Academy has built a legacy of academic achievement, spiritual growth, and community service. As an officially accepted International Baccalaureate Candidate School, we are committed to developing global scholars who are not only academically strong but also rooted in Catholic faith, ensuring our students grow into compassionate, ethical leaders.
At Holy Family, we celebrate a rich, diverse student body, fostering an inclusive environment where students of all backgrounds are valued and respected. With an average of 18 years of experience, our dedicated faculty members bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for education, empowering students to thrive academically and spiritually.
Currently 66% of our students are Hispanic, and 34% are non-Hispanic. 11% of our students are Asian, 15% are African or African American and 15% are of two or more races. This helps our students to be open-minded, to understand and appreciate their own cultures and personal histories, and are open to the perspectives, values and traditions of other individuals and communities. They are accustomed to seeking and evaluating a range of points of view, and are willing to grow from the experience.
Guided by our mission, "Faith is lived through our works," we teach our students that service and love for others are integral to their academic and personal journeys. At Holy Family, we embrace the belief that we are all children of God, created in His image, and we encourage our students to serve, learn, and grow together, building a compassionate community grounded in Christian values.
Mission: Holy Family Catholic Academy develops internationally minded lifelong learners rooted in our Catholic faith.
The funds raised through our North Texas Giving Day campaign will directly support our Student Tuition Assistance program, helping families who need financial support to provide their children with the gift of a Catholic education. Your generosity makes it possible for more students to learn, grow, and thrive in our faith-filled community.
Holy Family Catholic Academy (HFCA) holds to the truth that all children are creations of a loving God. Therefore, each child is deserving of dignity, respect, and consideration for individual needs and talents. We work to provide an educational environment free of discrimination based on race, national origin, or immigration status.
HFCA assists families that are disadvantaged so that each child can attain his or her best in academic and social achievement.
HFCA provides every student with opportunities to develop competency in areas in which academic performance is low, as well as activities that further develop students' strengths and interests.
