Our Needs
The purpose of the Highland Park Education Foundation is to rally our entire community to raise the critical funds necessary for continuing Highland Park ISD's tradition of exemplary education. Mad for Plaid is our annual campaign, which raises public support for HPISD's critical budget needs. Currently, that critical need is raising the bar for teacher and staff salaries districtwide.

Needs
Mad for Plaid is the Highland Park Education Foundation’s annual campaign, which raises public support for HPISD's critical budget needs. Currently, that critical need is raising the bar for teacher and staff salaries districtwide.
For 2026-2027, we have committed a $1.9 million gift to the District for teacher and staff salary support, our largest Mad for Plaid fundraising goal to date! This commitment assisted HPISD in providing a 4% raise to all employees for this school year. We cannot meet our commitment without our community's continued investment!
