Cancer doesn't pause someone's mortgage bill. On North Texas Giving Day, you can help!
When someone in Tarrant County gets a cancer diagnosis, the medical bills show up fast, and the regular bills don't stop. The mortgage still comes. So do the electric bill and the car payment that gets them to chemo. Families end up choosing between treatment and keeping the lights on.
The Gregg Pearson Foundation exists so they don't have to choose. We pay the everyday bills (rent or mortgage, utilities, car payments) so patients can put their energy into getting well.
$10,000 lifts the weight off up to four local families in the middle of cancer treatment. It isn't a gift card or a one-time tank of gas. It's enough to catch up on the rent, keep the lights on, and make the car payment, so the family has room to breathe for a while.
We're asking for your help to provide 10 more families' with relief. Every gift moves one of them closer.
What your gift does:
- $50 covers a week of gas for trips to treatment.
- $150 covers a month of electricity for a family that's behind.
- $500 covers a car payment, so a patient keeps their ride to chemo.
- $1,000 covers a month of rent or mortgage.
- $2,500 takes one family from drowning in bills to caught up.
100% of your gift goes to families. None of it goes to overhead or admin costs.
This year alone, we've given out more than $361,000 to DFW families facing cancer.
We do it to honor Gregg Pearson, who spent his life showing up for other people. This is how we keep showing up.
Give today... our neighbors battling cancer are counting on us to show up!
