We have had the pleasure to help over 5000 people reconnect and anchor to God's love providing hope when they had none. Our primary groups of recipients are victims of violent crime, single moms, and our homeless community. We meet with those that have been through some very turbulent times. We ask them to pick the hand-carved heart that most resonates with them (each heart is a unique piece of art and no two are alike. Once they pick their heart they are told how to hold the heart reminding them that how much God cares about them and how they will move through this dark time with His love. Many people cry, some immediately hug me, others eyes will light up with a spark of hope for the future. Extreme love happens when the hearts are gifts and nothing is asked for in return.
other initiatives this year have been adopting a low income community of senior citizen, feeding over 1,300 homeless friend, providing a fresh fruit stand for the homeless, supporting 27 widows in grief support, gifting 65 peace angels to families that have lost a loved one to a violent crime, and blessing 15 families in need with complete Christmas blessings.
