Grateful Gratitude is a one-woman nonprofit committed to serving our low-income and food-insecure senior citizens in Collin County.  Since October of 2023, we have adopted a community of 240 senior citizens requiring help in obtaining groceries and filling their pantries.  The seniors we serve are food insecure for many reasons.  We found seniors receiving less than $100 per month in SNAP benefits to fund all their food needs, seniors that can't get to a food pantry, or seniors that can't lift the amount of food given at a food pantry so they do go.  Unfortunately, most of the seniors we provide food for feel ashamed in asking for assistance.

Grateful Gratitude sets up an on-site "grocery store" with the help of Amazing Grace Food Pantry.  We join together to provide over 4,000 pounds of meat, produce, dry goods, snacks, drinks, and much more for our senior "shoppers" to browse our grocery store and choose the foods they like.  We don't hand them boxes of presorted food, we make their experience special.

We use our donations for seniors in crisis to prevent evictions, utility assistance, and emergency food for those in crisis.
