Every year the GP Santa Cop Inc. continues to grow. Santa Cop works directly with GPISD, local churches, and within the PD/FD family. Families are nominated and selected. Last year the programs helped over 1,400 children, the program plans to help more than 2,000 children in 2018. The families are nominated by the GPISD, churches and PD/FD once they are accepted every child between the ages of 0-17 is provided with two main toys, learning material, essentials such as toothbrush, toothpaste, beanie and gloves, each family is provided with a board game, stocking suffers, and a stuffed animal etc.
Our Needs
The program is always accepting toy donations all year round. The organization also needs monetary donations to help purchase updated toys and bicycles.
Mission
Santa Cop Inc is a volunteer based program withing the Police Department,There are no paid employees. Every year the program works directly with GPISD, local churches and PD/FD. Families are adopted and every kids is provided Christmas gifts to have for Christmas. Last year the program was able to assist over 400 families and over 1,400 children.
