Fort Worth Music Teachers Association

A nonprofit organization

All funds raised will support our student scholarship funds.  FWMTA offers  several student scholarship awards annually.  The Community Service Award is  given to ONE graduating senior of any Fort Worth public or private high school or is a student of a FWMTA teacher. This award honors the student who has demonstrated service to the community in a meaningful way. The Memorial Scholarship Award recognizes a talented high school senior who plans to major in music, and the Senior Scholarship Award is available to students who have participated in various musical activities throughout their high school years (grades 9 through 12). Recipients of the Senior Scholarship Award need not plan to major in music.

Mission

The Fort Worth Music Teachers Association aims to further the art of music through teaching, performance, composition and scholarly research.
