The Girls Lacrosse Club of Frisco is a 501C3 non-profit organization designed to grow and support the sport of girls lacrosse in Frisco, TX. Known as the Frisco Fury, we have teams for girls from Kindergarten with our Little Scoopers program all the way through High School Varsity. The organization strives to develop our lacrosse players into leaders who are compassionate and confident.
The Mission of the Girls Lacrosse Club of Frisco is to foster a life-long enjoyment for the game of lacrosse for youth and High School girls, residing in Frisco, Texas. The club offers developmental programs for girls in grades kindergarten through high school. Programs will include teaching individual fundamental skills, the essentials of team play, proper physical condition, and most important -- good sportsmanship. Through its coaching staff and volunteers, the GLCOF encourages players to develop a positive attitude, self-discipline, respect for others, and commitment to the success of their team and club. The Girls Lacrosse Club of Frisco strives to make participation in the sport of lacrosse affordable, safe and a positive experience for players, coaches and parents.
We hope to raise $12,500 to help cover the cost of these needs in our organization:
1) $4,000 for equipment for existing and new players: lacrosse sticks, lacrosse balls, goggles, goalie gear, goal cages, and physical conditioning gear.
2) $2,000 for 5 indoor turf field rentals for pre-season and spring season rainout days to preserve valuable practice time.
3) $2,000 to defray the cost of required on-site medical staff and referee fees for games and tournaments.
4) $2,000 to help us build up our scholarship fund so families with less means can still participate in our program.
5) $1,500 to replace aging timekeeping equipment, boundary marking, and other field gear needed to host game days with other area programs.
6) $1,000 for A/V equipment to record game film for training purposes and capture photos for marketing, social media, plus printing costs for marketing materials to help us grow the great sport of lacrosse.
