$20,000 Goal

We believe that thriving arts and culture fuels innovation, economic growth, and community. We are a center of diverse partnerships and networks, joining giving with arts advocacy. We invest in artists, arts organizations, art-repreneurs, and young creatives in "Sports City USA" through grantmaking, capacity building, and scholarships. Through our innovative programs, grants, and scholarships, we sustain the arts sector, building a stronger community through the arts. Frisco Arts is committed to supporting our creative community, no matter what age, race, or socio-economic background.

As Picasso once said, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." We are all born to be creative, and nurturing our inner artist is not only healthy for each individual, it's beneficial for the collective whole. When the arts thrives in a community, the quality of life improves for all citizens, and there is a vibrancy that is unmatched. Partnering with the artists is also a good investment for your business! Frisco Arts has collaborated with over 75 local businesses to highlight various aspects of our arts community in their spaces, from pop-up art exhibits, networking nights, and musical showcases. Because of these efforts, we received the 2018 Spirit of Collaboration Award by the Junior League of Collin County and named 2018 Nonprofit of the Year by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.

Our Needs

Frisco Arts awards grants and scholarships including a Ladies Who Launch Grant for women arts-repreneurs, a Minority Artist Grant for BIPOC artists of all genres, an Artist Resiliency Grant to assist those in the creative sector and a student scholarship for students pursuing a career in the arts.

As we continue to the grow the organization's grants and scholarships platforms and incorporate events back into the calendar, we will need to increase our staff.

Mission

To champion the arts through Advocacy, Education and Grant Making.
