Our top needs this year include:
• Funding for a new facility to help us better serve the increasing number of families seeking assistance.
• New refrigeration and freezer units to safely store fresh and frozen foods.
• Delivery truck maintenance to ensure we can pick up donations and food bank allocations.
• Food and essential pantry items to keep our shelves full.
Your generosity keeps our doors open and our mission moving forward.
The Forney Food Pantry has been serving our community for over 20 years, offering support to families, seniors, and individuals facing food insecurity in the Forney ISD area. Powered by local volunteers and generous donors, we strive to make sure no neighbor goes without the nourishment they need.
Our mission is simple: to provide food assistance to individuals and families in need while treating every person with dignity, compassion, and respect. We work to bridge the gap for those struggling with hunger by offering nutritious food, resources, and a welcoming place of support.
Food insecurity in our community continues to rise, and we’re seeing more families walk through our doors every week. Your support on North Texas Giving Day helps us keep shelves stocked, fill school food bags, and ensure our neighbors have access to healthy meals when they need them most.
Every dollar makes a meaningful impact — truly. Together, we can feed hope and strengthen the Forney community one family at a time.
We welcome donations of non-perishable food, toiletries, diapers, and pet food, which are always needed and appreciated.
Financial gifts are still essential. Monetary support helps us cover operating costs, purchase specific items we run low on, support our school food bag program, and prepare for emergency needs.
We are also in need of new refrigerator and freezer equipment so we can safely store more fresh items for the families we serve.
Every contribution — whether it’s food, funds, or supplies — plays a vital role in helping us care for our Forney neighbors with dignity and compassion.
The Forney Food Pantry is committed to serving every neighbor with dignity, respect, and fairness. We believe access to nutritious food is a basic human right, and we work to ensure that all individuals and families—regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, ability, or background—can receive support without barriers or judgment.
We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and cared for. Our goal is to meet people where they are and provide equitable access to the resources they need to thrive.
