First Tee - Fort Worth operates at our flagship location at Rockwood Park Golf Course, where we offer year-round programming at the Ben Hogan Learning Center. We also offer camps and classes at Squaw Creek Golf Course in Parker County, where we recently opened our second Ben Hogan Learning Center, and at Briscoe Elementary School through a pioneering partnership with Fort Worth ISD. Other sites are Benbrook Par 3, Cross Timber Golf Course, Texas Golf Center (east Fort Worth) and PGA TOUR Superstore in Southlake and Arlington. With our School Program, we also are able to extend our life skills curriculum to schools via implementation in the PE programs, as instructed by the school's coaches and PE teachers.

Our Needs

First Tee - Fort Worth is seeking funds to expand our outreach program, enabling more youth to have access to First Tee's Life Skills curriculum and its Nine Core Values character education program. Currently, we reach over 50000 youth annually within our service area through our researched based programs, including the Life Skills Curriculum, National School Program, Nine Healthy Habits program and various out of school outreach locations. Your donation will go towards expanding our reach by allowing us to offer our programming at more locations and moving towards our goal of reaching 100,000 youth.

Through the generosity of Charles Schwab, every dollar donated helps us get closer to reaching our goal in 2021 of $1.2M in donations to receive the full match from the Charles Schwab Challenge Grant in its third and final year. This 3:1 matching grant will help us meet important strategic objectives in three areas: sustainability, program expansion and capital needs.

Mission

To impact the lives of all young people by providing participation in First Tee's Life Skills Curriculum and its Nine Core Values through the game of golf, thereby instilling life enhancing values that encourage leadership, build character, foster community service and promote wellness.

Equity Statement

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are at the core of First Tee identity and essential to our continued success as an organization. The purpose of increasing diversity is to ensure it is part of the fabric of our organizational culture in all aspects of the business. This is not a project, program or series of events, but an expression of who we are and an intentional process to ensure that our mission is fulfilled.
