Mission

Fannin County Family Crisis Center is an organization that counsels and supports individuals and families in a crisis due to sexual assault, physical trauma and emotional abuse. Our Mission is to help individuals take control of their lives, know what their options are and assist them in realizing them. We are a nonprofit organization that cares for the people of Fannin County.

Needs

Every day, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault turn to us for safety, healing, and hope. Many arrive with little more than the clothes they’re wearing fleeing dangerous situations, carrying deep trauma, and facing an uncertain future.

Your support on North Texas Giving Day helps us meet their most urgent and long-term needs. Funds raised are used directly to provide:

• Counseling: Access to trauma-informed therapy to help them process abuse, rebuild self-worth, and heal emotionally.

• Basic Needs Assistance: Emergency hygiene kits, food, clothing, transportation, and other essentials to help survivors get back on their feet.

• Education and Prevention Materials: Resources for survivors and community members on healthy relationships, safety planning, and recognizing the signs of abuse.

• Advocacy and Case Management: Support navigating the legal system, securing protective orders, and connecting with long-term housing, employment, and healthcare.

• Groups: A place for survivors to build community and know they are not alone.

With your help, we provide not just safety but the tools to rebuild. Survivors deserve more than survival; they deserve to thrive.

Equity Statement

We are committed to serving all survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault with compassion, respect, and dignity. We recognize that every individual’s experience is unique, and we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds.
