We are in need of funding for enhanced safety features to bridge the gap between basic needs and resources. Our buildings are aging and being a small business and a 501-c-3 non-profit, upkeep with the rising cost of inflation is an ongoing concern. Any amount donated or volunteer hours will make a substantial difference in helping our seniors, many Veterans, who sacrificed so much for us. This year, help us bridge the gap between basic needs and resources through advocacy, outreach, volunteering, and/or making a donation. A donation is eligible for matches through North Texas Giving Day from August 28th through midnight on September 18th, 2025.

We are in need of funding for enhanced safety features, resident activites, and to bridge the gap between basic needs and resources. Since we are funded by HUD, we receive very little for resident activities and most programs are made possible through donations and volunteers. Many of our residents suffer from food insecurity and donations help maintain our in-house food pantry and our vegetable gardens. Residency is open to all qualified, eligible persons in accordance with the Federal Fair Housing Act and civil rights laws. Federal laws forbid Plano Community Homes Sponsored Properties (PCHSP) to discriminate based on race, color, creed, religion, sex, age, disability, familial status, or national origin. PCHSP does not discriminate based upon age for any reason, excluding HUD program/project requirements. Discrimination against a particular social or economic class is also prohibited. As well, PCHSP makes housing available for eligible persons without regard to sexual orientation, gender identity, or marital status.
