ELEVATE Young Adult Ministry

Millennials and Gen Z are distancing themselves from the local church at alarming rates. This is not only having a massive effect on our current society, but will raise significant issues for the future sustainability and influence of local churches. Unless we can do something about it.

We take two approaches to the problem. First, we minister directly to young adults (before they get too far from the church), in hopes helping them realize their role in local churches. We run a cross-church young adult ministry, where we seek to create a comprehensive discipleship community for young adults. This includes weekly worship services, small groups, local and global missions, and opportunities to serve, grow and lead.

Secondly, we are implementing a program designed to increase the young adult readiness of churches in our communities. It includes creating support mechanisms for current young adult pastors and their ministries in our area, as well as providing consulting services for churches looking to increase their ability to minister to college-aged and young professional young adults.

Our goal is to raise the young-adult readiness of churches in our community so that the gospel can sufficiently prepare the next generations for the unique challenges they will face, both in our current society, and in the future.

Our Needs

Our greatest need is the ability to bring high level, like-minded leaders alongside us in our mission. The roadblocks to such an invitation include financial support, administration and "invitations and storytelling" (marketing). God has used this ministry in awesome ways, but we are excited to grow our team so that the plans we have made can reach its maximum effect.
