Needs
For the past five summers, we’ve proudly brought iCan Swim to Dallas. Over the past two summers, we’ve added iCan Bike in McKinney. These programs give individuals with Down syndrome the chance to stay active, build confidence, and connect with peers during the summer months.
But the need for more is clear. Families are asking for additional opportunities, and we want to meet that need. Next summer, we hope to introduce two new adaptive programs:
iCan Dance – promoting movement, creativity, and self-expression
Ability Skateboarding & Action Sports – building confidence, balance, and community
Your support can make these programs a reality. Funds raised will help cover travel costs for instructors, ongoing training and staff development, equipment and adaptive gear, rental space for safe and accessible activities, program t-shirts and materials, and scholarships for families in need.
Every gift brings us closer to more opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome to stay active, engaged, and supported while school is out.
