$20,000 Goal

DFW*ATW launched the GREATMINDS initiative over a decade ago to help fulfill our mission of inspiring more women and girls to explore careers in technology. GREATMINDS—Girls Reaching for Education About Technology and Moving in New Directions for Success—introduces young girls to the exciting world of STEM through engaging community programs.

Our mission is clear: to spark curiosity, build confidence, and open doors to opportunities in STEM—especially for students from disadvantaged and low-income backgrounds. Together, we’re shaping the next generation of innovators and leaders!

Our Goal: Raise $20,000 to support operations, scholarships, camps, after-school programs and more!

Our Values:
Inclusive: Through membership, community outreach and elevating underrepresented groups
Inspirational: Through role models, mentoring, sponsorship and advocacy
Innovative: Through creativity, recognition and education
Influential: Through empowerment, coaching, leadership, networking and support

Join us to support our mission:
Monthly Meetings:
Our meetings alternate each month between connecting programs and speaker programs on the topics of technology and professional development.
LEAD Professional Development Program: 9 month member only program high potentials and middle managers who are interested in elevating their career to the next level
Executive Leadership Forum:
Executive Leadership programs are designed to appeal to high-level executives by offering events and programs in a close-community format to promote women in executive technology roles and they run quarterly.
GREATMINDS:
An outreach program to help young girls become interested in technology. The GREATMINDS Program bridges the gap between industry and schools (students, educators, and parents) by establishing community programs and groups focused on reaching out to young girls. Scholarships are part of our Outreach programs.
Mentoring:
DFW*ATW fulfills its goal of integrating Mentoring - for the mutual benefit and enrichment of each member - into meetings through a round table session.
