Mission

Cuisine for Healing's purpose is to supply immune boosting meals through our food programs to help a person's body heal while they are going through a health crisis. Our chefs cook organic, nutritious, delicious food delivered at no charge or available for pick up to people in our community battling life-threatening diseases, while offering nutritional education resources that enable our clients to incorporate healthy food choices into their daily lifestyle for improved long-term health.

Needs

Provide nourishing organic meals to individuals battling serious health challenges. This is our core mission to provide essential nutrition to those facing life-threatening illnesses, offering immediate health benefits and emotional support.

Providing Immune-boosting meals helps bridge the gap low-income patients experience when adding costly treatments and expensive medications into their monthly expenses. Many must choose between their medical needs and the nourishing food their body needs to heal. When someone is sick, even the simple act of cooking can feel overwhelming. Cuisine's meals are more than just calories; every bite delivers strength and the healing power of nutrient-rich food which helps patients focus on what matters most: fighting for their health and living each day with dignity.

Many clients do not have a caregiver, and some are still responsible for others during their treatment. Often upon diagnosis they are advised to change their diets, but given very little instruction or resources to make these needed changes. Cuisine for Healing provides educational resources in our clients’ meal bags each week on ways to improve their overall health and nutrition.
