We offer free counseling and support groups, access to free legal services, transportation to shelters, emergency shelter, accompaniment to court or medical services and advocacy for victims of violent crime at local hospitals. Our staff and volunteers answer a 24 hour crisis hotline that includes victim assistance and crisis counseling. Our counselors are licensed and also are experienced in the latest therapies for trauma. We assist with criminal justice support and work with all local law enforcement, CPS and first responders to offer coordination of services and resources. We offer protective order assistance and safety planning to get our clients to safety as soon as possible. Our clients are also eligible for financial assistance to get into safe housing. Our staff reaches out to local schools, civic organizations and colleges to provide prevention education and information about our services. We have a 30 year history in the local community as an advocate for victim's rights and have made an impact on the lives of countless survivors of domestic violence , sexual assault and other violent crimes.

Mission

The mission of Cross Timbers Family Services is to enhance safety and justice by preventing domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes in our community through empowerment, advocacy, awareness and action for social change.

Needs

CTFS currently needs operational support to ensure that victims of violent crimes receive life-changing services to bring them justice, hope, and healing completely FREE of charge. These services include legal advocacy, crisis counseling, crisis intervention, and more.
