Founded in 2005 by the late Homer D. Reagan, Community Outreach Connection (COC), Inc. is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to uplifting underserved and disenfranchised families in our community.
For more than 20 years, COC has connected individuals and families with essential resources and support. Today, our food pantry is at the heart of our outreach, serving families in Southwest Dallas and surrounding communities.
Through our partnership with the North Texas Food Bank and the Texas Department of Agriculture, we receive food items that help keep our pantry stocked. However, not every item our families need is available through these partnerships. Donations allow us to purchase additional food items that are not regularly provided through the Food Bank, helping us offer families a more complete and nutritious selection.
COC relies on generous donors, food partners, and volunteers to keep our pantry operating. We need financial and food donations, volunteers to help stock and distribute food, and support for reliable transportation and vehicle maintenance.
