Our Needs

Community Garden Kitchen is the first dining facility in Collin County serving freshly prepared meals to people struggling with food insecurity. Guests are welcomed to dine at CGK 4-nights a week and receive healthy, chef prepared meals at no cost - no questions asked, no paperwork required.  We are raising funds to support our dining program which is named, "Angela's Table", after our founder.  Donations will purchase the necessary food needed to prepare meals and make the operation sustainable.

Mission

To serve nutritious meals to those in need in a safe, welcoming place and to be a center of hope and compassion ensuring that no one in our community suffers the fear and distress of food insecurity.

Needs

Funding for Food. Although we received donated food, we still must purchase roughly 60- 65% of food items for our meal preparation. We strive to serve delicious, healthy meals to our guests who are struggling with not having enough good food to live active, healthy lives. Every dollar you donate will go to food purchases.
