CHPMP is comprised of dedicated volunteers who work countless hours in order to maintain The Pet Memorial Park. Our cemetery is a beautiful, well maintained resting place for family pets at a reasonable cost. CHPMP is proud to have a War Dog Monument in the Cedar Hill Pet Memorial Park as a tribute to the working animals that serve our community and country. We offer an advocacy program called the "Shadow Fund" for K9 handlers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex to help care for their retired partners. The Shadow Funds are used for the safety and healthcare of retired Police, Fire, Military, US Customs, Search & Rescue K9s. We provide assistance so that no K9 suffers or is euthanized because of a shortage of funds for medical care. In the event of a K9's passing, Cedar Hill Pet Memorial Project, Inc. will provide a free headstone and burial in the Heroes Section of the Pet Memorial Park.
The Cedar Hill Pet Memorial Project, Inc. was founded to acquire the historic pet cemetery in Cedar Hill, Texas. The corporation is dedicated to providing the dignity of a final resting place for pets and maintain that place in perpetuity. Our goal is to educate the public and pay tribute to those brave and loyal animals who have given so much to our families, community and country. CHPMP has an advocacy program, Shadow Fund, to assist K9 handlers with the healthcare cost of their retired K9s.
* General maintenance of the Cedar Hill Pet Memorial Park - mowing, edging, trimming trees, upkeep of flower beds, equipment, and repairs as they occur
* Operational Costs - utilities, insurance, answering service, website fees and advertising costs

The Shadow Fund pays for the full memorial service of active/retired Police, Fire, Military, US Customs, Search & Rescue K9s. A full service includes: a burial plot in the Heroes Section, opening and closing of grave, a customized granite headstone, honor services, a bugler, and other requested details.
