Fundraising Goals

The Cedar Hill Museum of History is a small local history institution located in Cedar Hill, Texas. The Museum consists of a single display gallery within the larger Traphene Hickman Library and Signature Park. Freshly fabricated exhibits have been the highlight in welcoming over 10,000 visitors into the space and it has allowed for a dramatic increase in community involvement. The funds raised through the Day of Giving campaign go towards the continued execution of interactive exhibits, support for educational programs, preservation of collections, and contributions of general operating funds to keep the Museum open with free admission, three days a week.

Mission

To encourage community learning through preservation of our cultural and natural heritage in Cedar Hill.

Needs

Currently, our organization is in need of docents to provide tours to visitors in our gallery. Volunteers also help us in planning and running educational programs throughout the year.

Equity Statement

The Cedar Hill Museum of History strives to be inclusive in all areas of diversity, equity, and accessibility to encourage full and diverse participation from its audiences.
