Forming Servant Leaders through an intentional & personal relationship with Jesus Christ through His Church.
Catholic Campus Ministry at SMU is a home for forming SMU students into Servant Leaders through an intentional and personal relationship with Jesus Christ through His Church. Since 1932, CCM has provided an environment on campus for fellowship, sacramental ministry, study, community service, spiritual enrichment, and leadership development. The ministry is committed to being a profound presence on campus as inspired by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive to form servant leaders into world-changers who live their Catholic faith professionally and personally.
Currently under the leadership of Fr. Kevin Kolker, Catholic Campus Ministry at SMU serves the largest religious group of students on campus with diverse programs designed to meet each student "where they are." Ministries and programs include Mass and the sacraments, OCIA, Bible studies, mission trips, community service, Awakening Retreat, discipleship, FYSH (first year student homes), and our popular Sunday Supper. For our students, the Neuhoff Catholic Student Center is their "home away from home."
Our goal is to raise $30,000 to support our campus ministry's programming to serve our SMU students. Your generosity will directly impact our mission to form faith-filled servant leaders, empowering students to deepen their relationship with Christ and serve both our campus and community.
How your gift can support our students this semester
FOCUS Bible Studies $1000 helps to finance the $70,000 annual cost of our four FOCUS missionaries, who lead over 100 students in Bible studies and provide transformative one-on-one outreach. |
Mustang Awakening Retreat $400 helps bring one student to our weekend retreat focused on encountering God and community |
|
Service Saturdays $625 helps 30 students complete one impactful service project in our community |
Daily Eucharistic Adoration $250 helps us purchase supplies so students can encounter Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament every day |
|
Jericho Nights $500 enables us to host one monthly Jericho Night—powerful evenings of adoration, praise, and worship |
Preparation for Christian Initiation $150 provides one Christian Initiation Preparation session so a student can become a full member of the Catholic Church |
Hear From Our Students
|
"Through the C, I have found more than just a community—I have found a family. My brothers and sisters in Christ have walked me through this journey, encouraging, challenging, and reminding me of God's endless grace." - Kevin Santamaria '26 |
|
"From the moment I stepped foot into The C, I knew I had found something special. Never before had I been embraced so immediately and enthusiastically by strangers. Everyone I spoke to was genuinely interested in getting to know me and sharing the light of Christ." - Mia Blank '27 |
"I am attending seminary down in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. I truly believe I would not have discovered this desire on my heart without the prayer, support, and opportunities offered me by Catholic Campus Ministry at SMU." - George (Tres) Gaiser '25 |
