CareCenter Ministries focuses on the underserved and impoverished people living in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas.
We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is transformative.
After working in East Dallas for over twenty years, we saw tremendous improvement in the area. Since 2006, our efforts in Pleasant Grove have been yielding good results as well.
With God’s help, since 1986, faithful partners have linked arms with CareCenter Ministries to see the ‘least of these’ helped. CareCenter’s faith-based outreaches and programs strengthen the hand of the poor rather than enabling and entrapping them in poverty.
CareCenter provides programs to our community without charge, and they include:
Food distribution twice a week
After school care for working parents, most of who are single moms
Thanksgiving outreach provides a turkey meal to 1,500 families
Summer and Spring Break camp for kids
Proven Residential programs for men and women struggling with life controlling issues/addiction
CareCenter Ministries' mission is to strengthen the hand of the poor through various community programs such as a food pantry, residential discipleship programs for men and women, apartment outreaches focused on families, and a community center for youth and other members of the community.
