At Bruce Wood Dance Dallas, we believe in the transformative power of dance to enrich lives and build community. Each year, we proudly connect with approximately 40,000 people through our captivating performances, free community events, and inspiring dance workshops and master classes.
We are deeply committed to showcasing the world-class dance created right here in our hometown while strengthening the artistic and economic health of North Texas. Bruce Wood Dance Dallas features exceptional choreography performed by first-rate professional artists, offering emotionally engaging programs that entertain, enrich, and even heal.
Beyond our incredible 14 dancers, we employ five full-time artistic and administrative staff and are proud to be a significant local economic driver. We champion local talent by commissioning performers, choreographers, photographers, videographers, stage crew, and consultants – all vital contributors to our region's creative and financial well-being.

The mission of Bruce Wood Dance Dallas is to present high-caliber, original, contemporary choreography that harnesses the power of dance as a tool for entertainment, enrichment, and healing. Fortified by Bruce Wood's aesthetic, Bruce Wood Dance Dallas produces and maintains his repertoire, commissions new work by resident choreographers and guest dance-makers, and contributes to the quality of life in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, and across the nation.
All donations fund our company members and staff salaries and benefits along with our ongoing performance programs and education outreach provided to our community by Bruce Wood Dance Dallas.
