At Bruce Wood Dance Dallas, we bring world-class contemporary dance right to our hometown. Each year, we connect with over 60,000 people through breathtaking performances, free community events, and educational workshops.

We are a vital economic driver. Beyond our 12 professional dancers and six full-time staff, we champion local talent by employing regional choreographers, photographers, stage crews, consultants, and more.

Mission

The mission of Bruce Wood Dance Dallas is to present high-caliber, original, contemporary choreography that harnesses the power of dance as a tool for entertainment, enrichment, and healing. Fortified by Bruce Wood's aesthetic, Bruce Wood Dance Dallas produces and maintains his repertoire, commissions new work by resident choreographers and guest dance-makers, and contributes to the quality of life in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, and across the nation.

All donations fund our company members and staff salaries and benefits along with our ongoing performance and education outreach programs.
