Healthcare is a basic human right. It begins with intentionality. Bridging the Gap Foundation aims to increase health literacy and build pathways to appropriate care while strengthening support in vulnerable communities. Committed to assisting communities by addressing the disparities associated with mental health challenges and access to quality treatment options. Since 2021, the Bridging the Gap Foundation has been utilizing philanthropy to improve the mental health and well-being of underserved and overlooked populations by providing access to culturally competent licensed professional counselors.

OUR MISSION

Our mission at Bridging the Gap Foundation is to address the disparities in access to quality mental health resources within communities of color through acknowledgment, advocacy, and assistance to people with mental health challenges.

Healthcare systems throughout the country remain significantly under resources and the cost of treatment widens the gap in access to care. When mental health treatment is provided, it is often poor in quality. Since 2021, with the generous support of like-minded individuals like you, the Bridging the Gap Foundation has funded more than 2750 professional counseling sessions for the uninsured and underserved. We cannot do the work with you.  Make a generous donation today.
