Thank you for visiting our page to learn more about The Bobo Fund! We are a tiny but mighty nonprofit, creating a big difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them. In less than a year, we have funded $10,000 in medication for pet owners who are faicing financial hardship. Please consider donating $5, even if you are just passing through! We appreciate you learning more about our mission.

The Bobo Fund is a nonprofit with a mission to provide assistance to pet owners facing financial hardship, ensuring that their beloved pets with chronic illnesses receive the essential medication they need. Qualified pet owners submit an application detailing their financial situation and their pet’s medical condition (e.g.: diabetes, Cushing’s disease, kidney disease). Once approved, The Bobo Fund works directly with the pet’s prescribing veterinarian to provide up to $150 in financial assistance per pet for medication or prescription food that is essential for their chronic medical condition.

The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) reports that senior and special needs pets require more frequent veterinary visits and specialized treatments, with annual medical expenses often exceeding $1,000 to $2,500 per year due to diagnostic tests, medications, and chronic disease management.

Your donation during North Texas Giving Day will directly help provide quality of life medications for pets with chronic illnesses, keeping them with the families who love them and out of local shelters.

One of the pet owners we helped said, "Thank you so much... this really helps us get through a tough time.  I didn’t  know how I was going to manage getting all her medications to keep her well the next couple month's but now I can breathe a little bit knowing she’s going to be okay for even a little while. What a special way to honor the memory of your dear Bobo." This is the positive change we are creating! Together, we can help more pets and their familes in North Texas and beyond.
