Mission
Bella House provides a faith-based residence for homeless, pregnant women. We offer a safe haven where enriching programs inspire transformation and brighter futures for mothers and their children.
Needs
Bella House is a maternity home where women who are homeless and pregnant can find respite while they give birth to their babies. Whether it be employment or education, Bella House supports moms in planning their next steps. Most importantly, Bella House is a place where women and their babies can find spiritual growth, security, community, love and support. Since 2015, Bella House has provided for the emotional and physical needs of 195 moms and has supported the births of their beautiful babies. Our primary need is financial, with monthly operating costs of approximately $40,000 to support our Plano and Dallas houses, our caseworker staff, and up to 11 moms and their babies at any one time. Our Outreach Case Manager walks with our Bella House Graduates until their children reach the age of 3 years and offers community classes for the mothers we cannot house. We provide housing, case management, materials assistance, rent assistance, transportation and mental health supports to our mothers all free of charge.
