Welcome! Before the Bridge is a small, private shelter and sanctuary. We currently house 17 dogs, mostly bully breeds, but we have other breeds here, as well. We also have 15 cats! We do not get any government funding and we do not have a foster system. We appreciate any donations, whether it be monetary, food ordered at Tractor Supply and now we even have an Amazon Wish List! Please enjoy looking around, there are lots of fun pictures of the dogs, I try to do blogs, every couple of days....if you could share our page, help us get our name out there and let the world know what we're doing here and the animals we care for. We have so many awesome things we would love to do here, to make our animals lives better!

Our Mission
Before the Bridge is committed to saving the lives of companion animals one life at a time.
We provide food, shelter, medical care, and love while we search for each pet's special Forever Home.
Should that special Forever Home not be found, Before the Bridge will provide a sanctuary so that these special companions may always have a home.
We are open to all breeds including the American Pit Bull Terrier which has a special place in our ministry.
We strongly advocate spaying and neutering as we teach others about the responsibility of pet ownership. We believe that helping our beloved pets cross The Rainbow Bridge at the end of life is a large and important part of that responsibility.

Our organization does not discriminate against any race, age group, sexual orientation or financial status. All are welcome to apply to adopt one of our fur kids. Approval is based strictly on the ability to provide an excellent home for any of our dogs or cats.
