Not just a home…an opportunity


Azleway Children’s Services is a faith-based non-profit agency that has been faithfully restoring lives and relationship of children in crisis since 1979.  We have had the privilege of helping thousands of children and families in their time of desperate need.  


Azleway began our adoption services in 2010 and have successfully adopted 300 children thus far.  Our adoption team works diligently with our adoption families so children can be placed in their forever home.

Every child coming into our agency is evaluated and placed in one of our programs based on how we can best meet their needs. This is done through group housing, therapeutic group housing and direct foster care placement.

The children that come to Azleway come with scars of their past lives. We take children that have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, and developmental challenges. Some, even at very tender ages, are so beaten by life that they are barely remaining afloat.

Regardless of their situation when they come to us, our purpose, vision and driving passion remains the same. Our goal is to bring each child into a caring environment where they receive structure, compassion, educational opportunities, and coping skills, with the ultimate objective remaining to direct them into a healthy family environment.


Azleway Children’s Services Branch offices are in Texas are in Tyler (Main Office), Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex--Grand Prairie, Houston--Humble, and Nacogdoches.  At ACS we offer Foster Care Services, Adoption Services, GRO, Valley View Residential (Azleway Boy’s Ranch), Substance Abuse Treatment (ASAP-Big Sandy), Therapeutic homes, and Community Food Pantries. Community Food Panties are located in Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex (Grand Prairie), Tyler, and Houston (Humble).

Needs

There is a daily $7.28 gap between what the state pays for each child in our care and the actual cost of raising a healthy, happy kid. That's $2,657 dollars for each child, each year, that must be raised to give these children in crisis the tools they need to grow into productive, healthy adults. Azleway served more than 3,000 kids in 2019, so you can see that we need you and that every penny counts! Your donation makes the difference for these kids.
