The mission of the Assistance Center of Collin County is to prevent homelessness and poverty by providing individuals and families in financial crisis with referrals, educational resources, and short-term financial assistance.
Founded in 1977 by Senator Florence Shapiro and other Plano community leaders as the Information and Referral Center of Collin County, ACCC has grown alongside our community, expanding its services to meet the evolving needs of Collin County families.

Our classes and workshops provide practical financial and employment skills to help clients build a stronger, more stable future.
With over 200 phone calls per day to our helpline, the need is greater than ever to help our neighbors remain stably housed. Your donation can keep a family sheltered for one month or more while we help them regain self-sufficiency.
