Our vision at the Assistance Center is to be a valuable resource for the Collin County community. We offer support and services through our helpline, providing our community with the resources they need to help prevent homelessness, hunger and poverty. Our financial assistance programs provide short-term rental and utility assistance to keep families stably housed and to remove the threat of eviction and utility disconnections. Our case managers work on a stabilization plan with every client we assist and we offer classes on financial literacy, employment, career coaching and ESL to further assist clients in gaining self-sufficiency.

Our Needs

1. Volunteers to serve as call center advocates providing information and referrals for families in need
2. Volunteers to assist with administrative tasks
3. Civic organizations or corporations to join our efforts
