Apollo Support & Rescue is a 501c3 private nonprofit animal welfare organization proud to be serving the people and animals of North Texas since 2012. As one of very few no-kill, open-admission, full-service animal rescues, we are dedicated to saving the abused and abandoned, reducing pet overpopulation, and educating the public. Through pet adoptions, community outreach, public education, referral and quality animal care, we provide support for over 3,500 pets and their people annually. BIG or Small we love them all.

Construction has started on the new building at the rescue and we need YOUR help to raise the rest of the funds to finish the project. Materials, parts, and labor have significantly increased since we got the original bid to build. This new building is crucial to making sure all animals in our care have their own kennel and access to go to an outdoor run. 


North Texas Gives to Animals May 15 - 31! 

In celebration of National Pet Month, Communities Foundation of Texas is proud to present North Texas Gives to Animals, sponsored by Gigi Gartner, launching May 15 through May 31, 2025.

Matching Funds Available To kick off the event on Thursday, May 15, the first $100,000 in online donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Gigi Gartner and Communities Foundation of Texas. Available for online gifts only, the first $500 per donor per organization will be matched. This helps ensure these generous matching dollars are available to as many participating organizations as possible.

Transaction Fee Coverage Thanks to help from our generous givers and sponsors, Communities Foundation of Texas will continue to cover all transaction and technology fees through December 31, 2025. This ensures 100% of online donations made through the platform will directly support your organization.
