✨Arts Mission Oak Cliff (AMOC) is a creative sanctuary, founded by artists, for artists, with a mission to make the arts accessible to the surrounding community✨
In the last year, we supported 56 artists/groups through our subsidized rehearsal space program (SRSP) offered at just $15/hr, platformed six artists-in-residence (AiR), hosted performances, music concerts, and workshops, like Therefore Art, Sound and Performance Group's PHANTOMs.
We are proud to host regular classes and opportunities for our community to connect, like Collective Reflection Movement Workshop, while also providing space for artistic companies who don’t have their own permanent homes, including Agora Artists, Fair Assembly, Pizza Chapel Theatre Co., Over the Bridge Arts, All Stars Project and more!
Our space is an intersection for a diverse community to connect, create, and play.
Founded by Anastasia Muñoz in 2017, Arts Mission Oak Cliff holds space for a diverse community to cultivate, celebrate, and sustain their creativity while actively engaging and inspiring the public with the arts.
AMOC has seen a promising amount of growth in the last few years and YOUR support is critical to help us advance our mission!
Your donation today ensures that we can continue to:
🎟️Keep our ticket and class prices low, ensuring access for our growing community.*
🎭Maintain low rental rates so local work can continue to be produced in our space.**
🪴Cultivate the economic development of local artist entrepreneurs by offering job opportunities and fair pay.***

*According to the TEA's 2022 snapshot, over 85% of AMOC's audience members and program participants are listed as economically disadvantaged, based on their zip code. We passionately believe that art is for everyone and we are dedicated to remaining accessible to our community!
**In 2024, AMOC subsidized over 448 hours of rehearsal space for local artists and arts groups!
***In the last year, AMOC has executed 50+ rental projects consisting of performances, workshops, and class series by local artists. This work is necessary! We hold space for artists and offer artistic programming not currently found anywhere else in Dallas!
****Fairly pay our small, hardworking staff and keeping our home, a repurposed church built in 1929, functional is essential to AMOC's sustainable future. The space will be ADA accessible by the end of 2025 thanks to generous donations like yours.
In furtherance of its mission, Arts Mission Oak Cliff [AMOC] is committed to and strongly believes in building and supporting a diverse, equitable, and inclusive arts community in Dallas and beyond. AMOC values freedom of expression and creativity, ever striving to provide creative communities with a space that celebrates diversity of thought and experience, especially for voices from historically underrepresented communities.
