About the All Stars Project
Through the developmental power of performance, which is at the heart of all our programs, the All Stars Project (ASP) transforms the lives of youth from poor and underserved communities in partnership with caring adults, giving everyone the opportunity to grow. As one of the country’s most successful privately funded national non-profits, ASP is on the forefront of building community by bridging racial, economic, and social divisions to develop a caring 21st Century America.
In the ten years since ASP launched in Dallas, we have transformed the lives of 35,000 young people and families from Oak Cliff, West and South Dallas, Vickery Meadows, and other underserved communities across the metroplex. Regardless of financial or socioeconomic status, background, ethnicity, or gender, we believe that any young person with a willingness to grow deserves the opportunity to do so. There are also no GPA or other admissions requirements to participate in our programs, which makes development and opportunity available at no cost to any young person. Our aim is to remain an organization that builds equity and removes barriers for our young people of Dallas.
Please make a contribution at a level that is meaningful to you. A gift of $76 is enough to bring our programs at no cost to a young person in our community. $152 sponsors two and $532 sponsors seven.
Support on North Texas Giving Day will support our youth development programs; the innovative Development School for Youth (DSY) and Internship Program where young people ages 16-21 learn how to perform as professionals as they partner with business leaders in workshops on various subjects, including resume-writing, networking, and public speaking; and Development Coaching, a new virtual program launched in 2020 giving young people ages 18-21 an opportunity to work with caring adults and industry leaders online who help guide and enhance their personal and professional development.
