This North Texas Giving Day, your gift helps build on the momentum of a powerful year for Dallas youth, including Dallas Works, the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program, and the 30th Anniversary of the Mayor’s Back to School Fair. Your support will help young people continue accessing workshops, coaching, transportation, cultural experiences, internship preparation and support, and caring networks that help them grow.

Building Bridges of Opportunity for Dallas Youth:

At All Stars Project of Dallas, young people learn by performing new roles. They practice introducing themselves in professional settings, build communication and networking skills, prepare for interviews, explore different industries, and develop relationships with caring adults who believe in their growth.

This year, Dallas Works continued expanding opportunity for young people across our city, reaching over 3,000 youth, welcoming 250 young people into orientation, and producing 31 workshops designed to help participants build confidence, professional skills, and a stronger sense of what is possible for their futures.

As we look ahead to Year Three of Dallas Works, we are strengthening a year-round pathway that includes career readiness workshops, transportation support, cosmopolitan experiences to see the city in new ways, internship preparation, and meaningful connections with employers and caring adults.

The 30th Anniversary of the Mayor’s Back to School Fair added another powerful stage for youth and families across the city. The Fair connected more than 10,000 children and families with free school supplies, health services, and community support, while bringing together leaders, corporate partners, community organizations, and volunteers around the shared goal of helping young people begin the school year ready to learn, grow, and thrive.

Your Gift Supports a Year-Round Pathway for Dallas Youth:

A gift to All Stars Project of Dallas supports the full breadth of opportunities offered through our Dallas Leadership Programs. Every contribution helps remove barriers and create more spaces where Dallas youth can grow, perform, and discover what is possible. See below for how each level of support brings meaningful transformation for our Dallas youth!

• $100 helps provide training materials for one Career Ready Workshop on topics such as resume writing, public speaking, networking, and financial literacy.

 

• $250 sponsors a Development Coach pair and supports a young person age 18 to 24 through personal and professional coaching. 

• $500 supports youth and families through community-based developmental experiences connected to the Mayor’s Back to School Fair and other citywide youth opportunities. 

• $1,000 supports one young person’s participation in Career Ready Workshops and Dallas Works Internship Prep Bootcamp.

• $2,500 helps cover roundtrip transportation to workshops and developmental experiences, reducing one of the greatest barriers to access for young people.

• $5,000 supports a Youth Building Bridges Across Dallas cosmopolitan outing, giving young people access to cultural, civic, and professional experiences across the city such as museums, art galleries, and sporting events.

• $10,000 helps support fall outreach operations so our programs team can reach more young people at schools and community events in areas of greatest need.

Through the developmental power of performance, All Stars Project of Dallas partners with caring adults, companies, civic leaders, schools, and community organizations to create free development opportunities for young people across the city. Our programs invite young people to try new performances, build connections, and grow in environments where opportunity is available at no cost. Regardless of financial or socioeconomic status, background, ethnicity, or gender, we believe that any young person with a willingness to grow deserves the opportunity to do so. There are also no GPA or other admissions requirements to participate in our programs. Our aim is to remove barriers of access for young people across Dallas.
