Abigail’s Arms is a family crisis center serving Cooke County
with one mission: to help families live a life free from violence.
Every day, we provide safety, advocacy, and hope for survivors
of violent crimes.
Services:
- Emergency Shelter – Safe refuge, open 24/7, for individuals and families in crisis.
- Child Advocacy Center – A child-friendly space where young survivors can share their stories and receive the care they deserve.
- Victim Advocacy – Helping victims find support and guidance while gaining safety.
- Sexual Assault Interagency & Forensic Services (SAIF) – Compassionate, immediate response for survivors seeking medical exams and advocacy.
- Victim Outreach & Community Education (VOCE) – Support and education for local students in grades K-12th.
In the past year, your support has helped us:
- Provide shelter for 233 survivors escaping unsafe situations
- Provide 970 hours | 1,113 sessions of trauma counseling to survivors of violence for healing and recovery
- Serve 734 children through our Child Advocacy Center
- Helped individuals start healing from 2,211 victimizations

Mission
Abigail's Arms Cooke County Family Crisis Center's mission is to provide a safe space for families in crisis, to educate and empower individuals, and to create awareness in our communities.
Needs
As a Residential Crisis Center, we are in continuous need of Trash Bags, Laundry Pods, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Twin Sheets, and Bath Towels. In addition, we keep Amazon and Walmart wish lists.
