$1,000 Goal

Nobody has to earn their right to exhale.

North Texas needs places where people can simply arrive.

Places to breathe. Move. Rest. Laugh. Create. Connect. Experience joy. And remember what it feels like to be present with ourselves and one another.

Yena has spent nearly a decade creating them.

We call what we do Wellness Arts—experiences that weave together movement, meditation, sound, music, creativity, reflection, and other practices that tend to the body, mind, and heart.

And we bring them into the places where life is already happening:

Parks. Schools. Workplaces. Museums. Shelters. Community spaces.

Because we believe wellness shouldn't be reserved for a certain kind of person, body, income, neighborhood, or experience level.

There should be room for all of us.

Our name is inspired by the Spanish word llena: full.

That's what we hope people experience with Yena—not some perfected version of wellness, but opportunities to fill themselves with more of what sustains us:

Breath. Movement. Rest. Connection. Creativity. Joy. Love.

Sometimes a company, school, museum, nonprofit, or other organization hires Yena to create a Wellness Arts experience for its people.

Sometimes we partner with community leaders and organizations to create something meaningful together.

Sometimes philanthropic support helps us bring Wellness Arts to communities where cost might otherwise stand in the way.

And sometimes you simply show up and practice with us.

It all belongs to the same ecosystem of care.

This North Texas Giving Day, your gift helps us keep creating spaces to exhale—and make room for more people to experience Yena across North Texas.

Fill the Cup. Spread the Love.

Mission

Our Purpose

To share love and joy through Wellness Arts.

Our Mission

Yena creates spaces for people to breathe, move, create, connect, and be well through accessible Wellness Arts experiences in the places where people live, learn, work, and gather.

Our Vision

A North Texas where more people have spaces to exhale, experience joy, and practice caring for themselves and one another.

Needs

Yena works because people show up for one another.

Some give. Some hire us. Some open doors and build partnerships. Some roll out a mat and practice alongside us.

Every one of them helps Yena keep showing up.

There are four ways you can be part of it:

GIVE

Your gift helps us compensate skilled facilitators, provide materials and resources, and bring Wellness Arts to communities where cost might otherwise stand in the way.

HIRE

Bring Yena to your workplace, school, organization, conference, retreat, or gathering. We create customized Wellness Arts experiences designed with your people and their needs in mind.

PARTNER

Have a community, space, or idea where Yena could make an impact? We collaborate with schools, nonprofits, cultural institutions, businesses, community leaders, and other partners to create meaningful experiences together.

PRACTICE

Join us. Come breathe, move, rest, create, connect, and experience Yena for yourself. Your presence matters, too.

However you choose to show up, you help us keep making room.

Equity Statement

Our Commitment to Belonging

There should be room for all of us.

Yena believes wellness should be a space where people can arrive as they are—not where they have to become someone else in order to belong.

We honor the different bodies, identities, cultures, histories, abilities, experiences, and ways of being that people bring into the spaces we share. We know that too many of us have learned to leave pieces of ourselves behind in order to fit in.

At Yena, we want you to bring your full self with you.

Our work is rooted in creating spaces where people can breathe, move, rest, create, connect, and experience wellbeing without needing to look, move, believe, speak, or live a particular way.

We won't always get everything right. We will continue listening, learning, and growing alongside the communities we serve.

Because belonging isn't something we want to simply write about.

It's something we want people to feel and experience—and carry with them. Because care and belonging have a way of spreading.

What we receive, we can carry forward—adding to the currents of care already moving through our communities.

And Yena will keep making room—for more breath, more belonging, and more ways to care for ourselves and one another.
