Yena is a 501c3 that is passionate about providing opportunities to ground in Love and Joy through Wellness Arts.

We are passionate about Championing Accessibility to Wellness across demographics and socioeconomic status.

We provide these Trauma- Informed offerings with Intentionality, Love and Joy!

In Partnership with AT&T Discovery Center in Celebration of Wellness and Culture

Yena's name stems from the Spanish word llena (yenah) which means full...in fact full to the point of overflowing.

Yena aims to pour Wellness into whomever they reach to an extent that can is overflowing; allowing people to pour back into community with ease and love.

Yena also flows with the understanding that Wellness practices need to be offered in a way that explicitly allows for difference to breathe and take up space.  Offerings like this disrupt a patterned life that tells us only certain parts of us are allowed in certain spaces.  When we steep into wellness practices that open up space for all that we are to *be*; then we can be well.

Mission

Our purpose is to share love and joy through wellness arts.

Our mission is to open space for love and joy in communities and organizations through intentional approaches to wellness.

Our vision is to show up with heart and consistency in the DFW community as we bring awareness and action to wellness.

Needs

Our current needs as an organization include all of you visiting our page.

We would love for you to Volunteer at our events, including helping us with our classes, and fundraising endeavors, and helping us spread the word.

We would also love your support in helping us expand our love, joy, and wellness; helping us reach more schools, shelters, and parks on a consistent basis! Funds and Referrals with Communities interested in Holistic Change are what we are looking for!

Please don't hesitate to reach out or talk to us at our Sunday classes at Klyde Warren Park to see how we can together extend Wellness to more communities ready to Grow in Love and Wellness.

Our Main Need will always be Financial support which would support us in continuing to do what we Love, support people with Yoga and Mindfulness regardless of access to resources.

We Love partnering with organizations and corporations by offering our Wellness Services including Corporate Yoga and Mindfulness while also inspiring philanthropy to make a positive impact for all on a local level.

The beauty in investing in Corporate Wellness with us is that not only do proceeds support Wellness for All through our future programming, but you also get to help us spread the word about who we are and what we do.

We are on Amazon Smile and can certainly benefit from folks supporting us while they shop online.

Yena Wellness is always in need of Yoga Teachers ready to serve the community with their time and talent.

200hr Yoga Certification and Desire to grow in understanding of how to specifically serve vulnerable communities with trauma sensitive awareness is a must.

An audition, interview, and screening process is necessary to honor wellness and safety for everyone involved. Teaching for Yena Wellness can be a volunteer position or paid position.

Equity Statement

We strive to not only live by these words but to transcend them. May we Embody what you read and continue to live into them. :

Yena exists to support people in embracing all that they are while celebrating differences. We understand that many spaces are harmful when they force people to compartmentalize who they are to fit into a societal norm. We have listened to community members demanding change to celebrate differences and are here to co-create spaces with the community to help people feel encouraged and supported in expanding into their full human experience.

We are here to support people in bringing all that they are into spaces, including the parts we have been told to hide to "fit in". We are here to help normalize what it is to be human. By allowing for our humanity to breathe, we can remember practices that can return us to our wholeness; which is the true definition of Yoga: to "yoke/unite".
