The Wolfe City Food Pantry serves about 200 families and distributes over 9,000 lbs of food each month. Food distributions are made from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month. Although we are not a FUMC food pantry, but a COMMUNITY Food pantry, the FUMC has permitted us to use their facilities to store frozen food and supplies with office space.
In such a small rural community, corporate donations to fund our missions are much more limited than in urban areas. Each and every dollar makes a huge impact to our ability to serve those in need in our community! Won't you help us to help them?? MISSION STATEMENT
The goal of the Wolfe City Food Pantry is to supply supplemental food for lower income families within the 75496 and the immediate surrounding areas.
Currently Wolfe City Food Pantry is in need of new freezers to store perishable products prior to distribution.
