Windom School Memorial Foundation

Overview: The Windom Art School is a non-profit program of the Windom School Memorial Foundation.  The school utilizes the historic Windom School Building to offer a low, and often no, cost makers' space, classes in a variety of art mediums for teens and adults, meeting space for community groups, and programs for children and seniors.  Our service area includes the community of Windom and the residents of Fannin and surrounding counties.  

Mission Statement: We are firm in our conviction that art, creativity, and social interaction are essential to every human being's well being, regardless of age, socioeconomic status, or any other defining circumstance. 

Our Programs: We provide fully equipped shared studio spaces for member artists to pursue work in painting, hand printing, mixed media, glass, and ceramics.

We offer instruction to teens and adults in 

• Fused glass, stained glass, and mosaics,

• Ceramics,

• Oil painting,  

• Acrylic painting.

• Photography, 

• Hand printing, and

• Mixed media.  

We support member artists by group participation in fairs and events such as the Paris Art Fair, and other regional fairs and festivals.

We conduct free monthly arts workshops for children.

We host free monthly social events for seniors.

We provide a free meeting space for youth groups, senior programs, and community clubs and organizations.
