At Why Not You, we believe that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported especially when life gets hard. Our mission is to build a world where young people struggling with depression, anxiety, and thoughts of suicide know they are never alone.


Founded from a place of personal loss and unshakable purpose, Why Not You focuses on youth suicide prevention by teaching critical life skills like emotional awareness, self-care, healthy coping, and how to be a safe friend to others. Through school partnerships, hands-on workshops, and our signature empowerment programs, we’re helping kids ages 6–17 build resilience and find purpose, even in the darkest moments.


This North Texas Giving Day, your support helps us reach more students, train more mentors, and expand our life-saving programs into communities that need us most.

Mission

Why Not You empowers youth to recognize their worth, build emotional resilience, and choose life in the face of adversity. Through suicide prevention education, mentorship, and community support, we create safe spaces where every young person feels seen, heard, and equipped to navigate their emotions with courage and confidence

Needs

Right now, too many young people are silently struggling with emotional pain, anxiety, and thoughts of giving up. At Why Not You, we believe every child deserves the chance to feel seen, supported, and safe—but we can’t reach them without the help of our community.

Your support is critical to the success of programs like Revive & Thrive, which provides life-saving tools, trusted mentors, and a safe space for youth to heal and grow. Whether it’s through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, your involvement helps us show up for kids who need hope the most.
