$7,500 Goal

The White Settlement Historical Museum has a goal of $5,000 to prepare, develop, design and install the next special exhibit to be featured in the Jimmie E. Weaver Special Exhibit Room - "Community Life Through the Pages of Suburban Newspapers" to run from September - December 2026.

A second goal of $1,500 will be used to restore a 1947 John Deere MT 1947 2-Cylinder Letter Series Tricycle General Purpose Row-Crop Utility Tractor to running condition. It needs four new tires and inner tubes, a 6-volt tractor battery, oil and air filers, spark plugs, tractor oil and harness wiring, all sourced locally, at the best possible prices, to make this happen.

And thirdly, the Museum would like to purchase the necessary accessory materials needed, estimated at $1,000, to be able to demonstrate basic blacksmithing techniques to visitors.
