wear blue: run to remember is a nonprofit community that honors the service and sacrifice of the American military. Through active remembrance and purposeful movement, we create a living memorial to the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice, while supporting the families and veterans they leave behind.
In Texas, our wear blue communities gather for regular runs, remembrance events, and community programming that unite military families, veterans, active-duty service members, and grateful civilians. Together, we create spaces of connection, healing, and honor.
Your generous support through North Texas Giving Day directly fuels programs like:
Community Runs and Circles of Remembrance in communities like Fort Cavazos, San Antonio, and Dallas-Fort Worth.
Gold Star Youth Mentorship Programs that pair children of fallen service members with positive, supportive mentors.
Tribute wear blue Miles at local Texas races to honor fallen heroes with every purposeful step.
With your help, we can continue to ensure that no Texas military family grieves alone, no veteran feels forgotten, and every sacrifice is remembered. Join us in taking purposeful steps for those who gave all.
Every dollar raised stays right here in Texas — honoring, remembering, and supporting those who serve and sacrifice.
wear blue: run to remember honors the service and sacrifice of the American military through active remembrance. We envision a healthy, ready, and resilient military family. We enhance and exemplify community, wellness, respect, grit, and excellence in everything we do.
At wear blue: run to remember, we believe that remembrance, honor, and community belong to everyone. We are committed to building an inclusive, accessible, and equitable environment where all people — regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability, faith, or background — feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to remember, heal, and move with purpose.
Our programs unite individuals from all walks of life to honor the service and sacrifice of the American military. We recognize the diverse experiences within our military and civilian communities and strive to ensure that every voice is heard, every story matters, and every sacrifice is remembered.
We actively seek to uplift underrepresented voices within our military, veteran, Gold Star, and survivor communities and are dedicated to fostering spaces of connection, compassion, and belonging for all.
