Women Motivating Women, WMW, was established in 2014. Our President, Nedra Butler, envisioned women coming together to build one another up and serve others in the process.
We are a group of women who have chosen to set all of our differences, issues, and struggles aside, to come together through the love of God and bring light into other people's lives. We volunteer with and give to a variety of organizations and people. We work with homeless shelters, senior citizen homes, recreation centers for children, host school supply drives, and volunteer alongside other companies and nonprofits.
We work with women, youth, senior citizens, men, and so forth. We love to help as much as possible and we believe that true joy is in giving back to the community.
Scholarship funding, grants and grant writers, special projects, national recognition, advertising, funding for annually hosted events.
WMW is a small non-profit organization that has a big vision in helping others. We need funding to make sure we are continuously providing as much assistance as possible to those in need. Our main goal is to bless others and help them flourish in life. Our group does need funding for our scholarship programs, special projects and events that we host throughout the year (kids day out, school supply drives, holiday celebrations, giveaways, care packages, and more). We would like to expand our recognition and marketing platforms on a greater level to reach more people and recruit more women who would like to help us on our mission.
Our Mission statement is 1 Peter 4:8, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." We believe that everyone should be able to experience love, charity, and kindness regardless of their life situations. Women Motivating Women are determined to help those who are less fortunate or just in need of our assistance or help. We do that by spending quality time with people, lending a helping hand, donating necessities, and providing hope and joy in the lives of others. Our services are meant to help women, children, youth, the elderly, and men.
Some of our annual needs for free events we host each year are listed below
- school supplies for All Ages
- back packs
- necessities products such as (toothpaste, toothed brush, soap, etc)
- toys ( kids ages 2 to 9 years old)
We will strive on making our communities better one step at a time. Our commitment to diversity is woven into the very fabric of our organization, from our leadership to our volunteers.
