$10,000 Goal
Each year, our Annual Giving Campaign supports things like Grants For Teachers, Scholarships, the School Supply Closet and more. We ask families and business leaders in our community to donate $250 or $25 per month to fund programs across the district and fuel discovery and learning for all students in Wylie ISD.
Thanks to our generous parents, community, foundation and corporate donors, Wylie ISD Education Foundation can support programs like this across Wylie ISD:
Drums for elementary school
Junior high orchestra instrument tuners
Classroom libraries
Portable makerspace carts
Outdoor educational opportunities
Hands-on learning with LEGOs
Teaching gardens
Backpacks for Back-To-School
AEDs for future nurses
Math manipulatives
Supplies for career readiness in welding
Summer reading bookmobile
Wylie ISD Education Foundation's primary purpose is to enhance education in the classroom. Last school year, we invested more than $165,000 in Grants for Teachers whose unique ideas improved learning for their students. Grants funded things like supporting math manipulatives for all junior high math classes, reading resources for struggling readers, equipment for robotic classes, fine arts expansion and so much more!
With the help of our passionate community, Wylie ISD Education Foundation works closely with families, businesses, service clubs, and more to provide Scholarships for Seniors each spring. This year, we awarded seniors roughly $85,000 to further their educational goals in college or trade school.
We mobilize our community, educators, and Wylie ISD to accelerate progress. We help find the most impactful ways to empower our educators, fuel engaged learning and discovery while supporting students and their families. Powered by the generosity of our donors, we have demonstrated the power of public education impacting students’ lives across Wylie ISD since 2002.
Wylie ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that enhances the education of students in the Wylie Independent School District through grants, scholarships, programs and initiatives.
