Voces Pacis was established in 2022 and presented its first concent in October of that year. The ensemble exists to perform choral music at a semi-professional level to enrich the North Texas area with concerts throughout the year. The choir is beginning its third season and will present concerts in October 2024 and March 2025.
The choir is made up of talented DBU choral alumni, area church musician, and music colleagues. In July of 2023, the choir was privileged to serve as the choir in residence at St. Albans Cathedral in St. Albans north of London. Also, on that trip the choir presented concerts in Oxford, Stratford upon Avon, and Evensong at Canterbury Cathedral. In June 2026 the choir is planning their next international tour to Greece. The organization is open to singers throughout the concert season and welcomes anyone interested in becoming part of Voces Pacis to read more about it on the website, www.vocespacis.org
