Vita Nova means “new life” — and that’s exactly what we offer.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization rooted in compassion and committed to transformation. At Vita Nova Supportive Housing, we provide more than just a roof — we offer a safe haven, a second chance, and a path to sustainable independence for women rising out of the shadows of substance use disorder.
Our Supportive Home serves women from diverse backgrounds who are seeking refuge from addiction, incarceration, homelessness, and trauma. Many arrive with nothing more than the courage to try again. What they find here is hope — and a structured, loving environment designed to restore dignity, rebuild lives, and reconnect women to purpose.
We operate as a Level III Trohn/NARR certified recovery residence, offering peer-led support, life-skills training, and spiritual guidance, tailored to each woman’s journey. Whether she's walking through our doors for the first time or preparing to graduate into independent housing, she is met with acceptance, accountability, and unwavering support.
Our model works because it is heart-driven and community-powered. We partner with local churches, recovery organizations, and businesses who believe, like we do, that no woman is too broken, too far gone, or too late to begin again.
Over the last five years, we’ve served dozens of women as they reunite with their children, secure employment, maintain sobriety, and discover their worth. Each story is a testimony of resilience — and a reminder that healing is possible with the right support system.
Now, we’re expanding. With your help, we plan to:
Grow our recovery housing services to meet urgent demand in Tarrant County
Launch LaLa’s Shaved Ice, a social enterprise providing transitional employment to women in recovery
Provide transportation, groceries, therapy, and recovery coaching for women who otherwise would go without
Your gift through North Texas Giving Day goes directly toward providing safe housing, meals, peer support, and essential services to women who are fighting to reclaim their lives.
We are not just changing circumstances — we are changing generations.
Join us in restoring lives, rebuilding families, and creating a community where recovery is possible for every woman ready to rise.
