In 2022, Vanguard Prep School merged with The Menta Education Group and became a 501(c)3, opening the doors for our first North Texas Giving Day this year!
The Vanguard Preparatory School serves children and families who, for different, often complex reasons, are not well served by traditional public and private schools. We aim to provide an environment where students can excel to the full extent of their capabilities. Excel might mean achieving academic honors and going on to college with a full scholarship, or it might mean the freedom to live independently and pursue meaningful work. Vanguard is unique in our ability to integrate academic learning with social-emotional learning. We have been doing both―and doing both well—for 31 years!

At Vanguard, tuition covers approximately 80% of the true cost of providing a well-rounded educational experience for a child. Your gifts will help provide:
Scholarships: Numerous students who would benefit from attending Vanguard do not finish the enrollment process because they can’t pay the full cost of tuition. Your gifts will help us increase the number of scholarships available.
Staff Recruitment & Retention: Vanguard aims to raise funds to help recruit extraordinary staff and retain our current team. We are proud to announce that in 2022, we secured a 100% staff retention rate!
Extracurricular Activities: Your donation means our students will have more opportunities to investigate scientific concepts at the Momentous Camp, learn compromise and develop camaraderie in team activities such as basketball or robotics, hone their artistic and social-emotional skills through creative ventures, and apply knowledge and problem-solving skills to crack mysteries with the Forensics Club.
