The Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation is a pillar for women who are going through breast cancer treatment. It’s these fighters we are here to love and lift up. We carry the weight of some of the day to day tasks and necessities of life so that she can focus on healing and gaining strength. There is power in community and there is strength in support.
When a woman is fighting breast cancer, there are a lot of needs outside of treatment that they require. Things like:
Financial assistance to help meet insurance deductibles
Meals for the family when she is in bed sick from treatment
Transportation for her children when she’s not able to take them to school or practices
House Cleaning while she’s under the weather
Yard maintenance so that the family can focus on the fight instead of chores
Laundry assistance when she lacks the energy to make it out of her bedroom
Massage to work out the soreness from the muscle and bone pain
IV Therapy to help with recovery and wellness And MORE!!!!
With your donations, we are able to provide women with assistance in these areas and more based on their specific needs. We have partnered with local businesses to help provide these services. Every donation will impact these families in ways you will never know!
Loving on women where they are, the Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation (501c3) exists to financially and emotionally assist women in our local communities throughout their breast cancer journey.
Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation needs consistent funds to provide for the women we support. We are growing quickly which is shown in the number of women we have accepted since our founding year. In 2021, we assisted 5 women, the second year we supported 11, in 2023 we helped 13, last year we assisted 42 and this year we are walking alongside 32 women so far. It costs an average of $15,000 per month for benevolent services at this time.
$100 covers an average house cleaning session
$200 covers an IV treatment
$300 covers 1 month of laundry
$500 covers 1 month of meals delivered
$1000 covers 2 months of cold-capping
The funds will allow us to continue our partnerships with our community partners to provide services such as meals, laundry, lawn care, house cleaning, financial assistance and more.
