It isn’t easy for Texans to do what we want with our own pregnancies – especially for those of us who are BIPOC, LGBTQ, undocumented, and/or living on low incomes.

Using the reproductive justice framework, we especially strive to serve those with the least access – BIPOC, LGBTQ, undocumented, and/or living on low incomes.

We are the only nonprofit in Texas providing the same services as Crisis Pregnancy Centers, but without the manipulation.

Will you donate to help us bring reproductive choice throughout Texas?

We are a young, small organization, so every small donation helps us grow – especially if you ask your friends and loved ones to give too.

Our Completely Free Services:

  • Pregnancy tests and sonograms without manipulation

  • Unbiased all-options counseling

  • One-one-one confidential sex education

  • Contraception of all kinds

  • Referral to free doctors for miscarriage and post-abortion care

  • Emotional support from pregnancy through postpartum

  • Referral to inclusive adoption agencies

  • Self-care supplies for pregnancy, miscarriage, and abortion

  • Baby and family supplies

  • Referral to other services clients may need

Founded in 2023, we support Texans in Dallas, online, and at an NM abortion clinic. We are now working on expanding to Houston and other out-of-state abortion clinics serving Texans. Our goal is to serve Texans statewide, focusing on places of high need.

Who We Are:

We’re Texans. We’re Black, White, disabled, queer. We’re parents, we’ve been pregnant, we’ve had abortions, miscarriages, and births. We’ve struggled to make ends meet. And like you, we’re living with the fear and confusion these laws create. We get it, and we’re here to help. Will you join us?

Our Principles:

Racial Equity: Our work is guided by the understanding that disparities in health and healthcare are pervasive – particularly for maternal, reproductive, and LGBTQIA+ health. We are committed to addressing these disparities by providing culturally competent, affirming care, challenging biases within the healthcare system, and advocating for policies that promote equity and justice for all.

Reproductive Justice: We use the reproductive justice framework, centering the needs of the most oppressed people and advancing the human rights to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have a child, not have a child, and parent in safety and sufficiency.

Trauma-Informed Care: We offer trauma-informed, culturally relevant care using liberation psychology.

Thank you for supporting all Texans to make our own decisions about our lives and families.

Mission

Our mission is to provide truthful, compassionate and clear information, counseling and support to those facing pregnancy-related crises. We believe in the right to make informed decisions about reproductive health and we strive to create an environment where every person feels seen, heard and respected.

Equity Statement

At Truth Pregnancy Resource Center, we recognize that the issues surrounding pregnancy are deeply intertwined with broader social, racial and gender inequalities. Our commitment to racial equity and LGBTQIA+ affirmation means that we actively work to dismantle the systemic barriers that disproportionately impact marginalized communities, particularly in accessing reproductive healthcare.

Reproductive Justice: We advocate for the right of every individual to have the resources and support necessary to make decisions about their reproductive lives with dignity and autonomy. Individuals deserve the right to not parent without government interference. Individuals deserve the right to parent their children in environments free from state-sanctioned violence. Individuals deserve the right to respect for their bodily autonomy.

Racial Equity: Our work is guided by the understanding that disparities in healthcare, particularly in maternal, reproductive and LGBTQIA+ health, are pervasive. We are committed to addressing these disparities by providing culturally competent, affirming care, challenging biases within the healthcare system and advocating for policies that promote equity and justice for all.
