Trinity Preparatory Academy was founded in 2008, originally named Morning Glory Academy. Our school has grown, matured - and after starting with 21 students all those years ago - we now serve almost 500 students!
Trinity Prep is one of few University-Model® schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A University-Model® school is a blend of the most positive aspects of traditional public and private schools in a family-friendly Christian environment that offers elementary through high school students a rewarding college preparatory education.
Students attend classes on campus either each Tuesday and Thursday or Monday and Wednesday. Electives are available for secondary students on Fridays. The alternate days are spent at home in the satellite classroom where parents monitor student progress. At all levels, purposeful teaching promotes academic excellence, critical thinking, and the imparting of a Biblical worldview.
Thanks to our amazing families, donors and friends, we were able to move to our very own campus at the start of the 2023-2024 school year, and we opened our middle/high school building for the 2024-2025 school year.
Example of shade structure:
OUR MISSION
To partner with families to provide Christ-centered teaching with academic excellence to develop well-educated students with a Biblical worldview and a desire to follow Jesus Christ in all walks of life
OUR VISION
To equip spiritually-sound and academically-proficient Christian leaders who are prepared to serve their community and make a difference
Last fall, we were able to install a beautiful new playground for our students thanks to our generous donors! Our students (kindergarten all the way to high school) love our outdoor space and their new playground - but our property doesn't have much natural shade near the playground/open play/PE space, and in North Texas, that makes a huge difference in your time spent outdoors! We want to provide shade structures to cover areas near the playground so our students (and supervising staff) can remain cool and safe and enjoy being outside. This is our focus for 2025's North Texas Giving Day!
