Trans-Cendence International is the primary support group open to those who identify as transgender or gender diverse, those who are thinking about questions of gender and those who support the transgender community. We focus on the support of significant others, family, friends, and allies of transgender and gender-diverse individuals. Our goal is to keep families and friends together.
Trans-Cendence International is 100% run by volunteers. The funds donated go to setting up support group meetings, developing community support programs and policies, marketing and educational materials, training, educating the public, and to operational costs such as website, space rental, etc.
Trans-Cendence International is committed to the support and well-being of the transgender and gender-diverse community and their SOFFAs (Significant Others, Family, Friends and Allies). We work to build an inclusive community by creating programs to educate others. We empower individuals to seek equal and civil rights to which they are entitled as members of the human race.
Equity is at the core of our Vision, Mission, and Values. We are committed to creating inclusive spaces and atmospheres that fully represents many different cultures, backgrounds and viewpoints. Our support group meeting places are for people from all walks of life to connect, creating a welcoming environment for all.
